Class Update

Another opportunity to try Art Clay Silver!

Art Clay Silver is a fun and interesting technique in which you mold an organic clay polymer, which is embedded with silver molecules, into various jewelry objects, including pendants, rings, earrings, connectors, clasps, and more; then fire them in the kiln or with a torch, yielding 99.9% silver (fine silver). The possibilities are endless, and limited only by your imagination!

We offer a number of advanced Art Clay Classes, including rings, bezel setting, enameling, and paper clay, and Angela keeps adding more and more fun new advanced projects. All advanced classes require successful completion of Intro Art Clay.

We have had a number of requests to offer Intro Art Clay so folks can be ready for the advanced classes, and we are pleased to announce a new Intro Art Clay class, on Saturday, March 27, @ 10:30 AM. Call us, or drop by the shop to register.

And don't forget to check the calendar for all our other classes - we have a lot of fun stuff coming up, including a terrific introductory-level Wire-Wrapping class. If you have been wanting to try out wire-wrapping, this cabochon pendant class would be an ideal opportunity. It is scheduled this Sunday afternoon, 2/7, @ 1 PM - time is running out to register!

We also have another advanced Art Clay class (Paper Clay - see our last newsletter post for a picture of this project) on Feb. 20; a Wire Class on 2/21; Kumihimo on Feb 26; Cold Connections on Feb 27 & 28, and Chunky Beaded Necklace on 3/13.

Hope to see you soon!
