Wire-Wrapped Cabochons

Ever wondered what to do with those flat-backed "beads" with no holes? This is a good beginner-level wire class, with a lot of instruction about wire types and basic wire-wrapping skills, plus you'll leave class with a beautiful pendant!

Class fee: $45 plus supplies; $25 deposit required for registration. Registration closes at 12 Noon on Friday, May 5.
           

Just a reminder about our wire classes: Daniel travels a long way to teach these classes, so a minimum of 2 students must register for any class in order to justify Daniel's travel time and expenses. In the event that we fail to have enough students register for a particular class, any registration fees collected for that class will be refunded in full.

Also, Daniel offers private classes here at YaYa Beads for those who want a little more individual attention and don't want to worry about whether enough students will sign up for our group classes. These private classes cost $90 (supplies are extra), and must be paid IN FULL at the time of registration. The student determines which projects will be taught. Depending of the projects chosen, Daniel covers anywhere from 2 to 4 projects in this class (the student will leave the session with a finished project for each lesson). The number of projects varies because some pieces are quicker than others, so more projects can be mastered during class time. Private classes are offered on Sundays (sometimes on Saturdays, depending on Daniel's availability), usually from 10AM to 5PM.

We are back from the Holidays with new wire class dates for March:


Sunday, March 6, 1PM: Wire-wrapping, Basic Cabochon Pendant

This is our most basic wire-wrapping class: lots of instruction in types of wire, various tools, plus students will learn to wire wrap a cabochon, leaving class with a beautiful pendant.

Schedule Change: Wire-Wrapped Bracelet Class Scheduled June 8, 2014

Wire-Wrapped Geometric Bracelet: Sunday June 8, 1 PM:

This is our most basic Wire class, with lots of tips and techniques on the different gauges and shapes of wire, the tools, and so much more, plus you'll leave the class with a beautiful bracelet. Great class for beginners and for seasoned wire workers wanting to hone their skills.

Class fee: $45 plus supplies, $15 deposit required for registration.

Wire Wrapping Class February 23

Our next wire class is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, at 1PM. The project will be this bracelet:
